Overview

The Regional Product (Medical Education) Specialist serves as the customer-facing clinical and technical expert for HEMANEXT ONE within an assigned territory. In this role, you will drive engagement with hospitals and healthcare providers in the chronic and acute bleeding transfusion space to expand access and adoption of our technology.

Your mission is to cultivate and secure hospital access, deliver impactful medical education, and ensure seamless integration of HEMANEXT ONE into clinical practice. You will also lead hospital contracting efforts, capture voice-of-customer insights, and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Clinical Affairs, and Marketing to accelerate growth and strengthen our presence in the field.

This role requires ~50% of travel around the East Coast. You must reside in the Eastern half of the US.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Cultivate and secure clinician and hospital support in chronic and acute bleeding clinical indications.
  • Provide hands-on clinical application support, troubleshooting, and clinical workflow optimization.
  • Deliver product training to transfusion service physicians, and hospital nursing.
  • Support KOL engagements acting as the bridge between customers and R&D/Clinical Affairs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with hospital blood bank directors, transfusion medicine physicians, and regional blood centers as appropriate.
  • Capture competitive intelligence and customer feedback; input into product roadmap/pricing strategy.
  • Support sales opportunities by providing clinical credibility at decision meetings and during procurement/validation.
  • Report weekly activity, pipelining, and clinical updates to leadership.

Education Requirements

  • BS in life sciences, advanced degree (MS/MPH/PharmD) preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 3–7+ years combined experience in hospital blood bank/transfusion services, blood center operations, or clinical support for blood-related medical devices. Clinical transfusion experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior field-based product specialist, clinical application specialist, or territory clinical support role in the blood/blood-management or medical device industry.
  • Experience with FDA-regulated product hospital implementations.
  • Existing relationships with transfusion medicine directors or blood center leadership.

Competency and Skill Requirements

  • Comfortable running hands-on training and small group workshops; strong presentation & clinical credibility.
  • Ability to read/interpret clinical data, support clinical trials, and document training/validation activities
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, and CRM skills.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid state driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently. (~50%)

Salary Range

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $90,000.00 – USD $120,000.00 / Year. Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirement under federal, state and local laws.
